Thhe Scottish Government is being called upon to step in and address a contentious planning issue concerning a retrospective approval bid for two duck shooting ponds. The site in question gained attention in the past when a nearby Buddhist monastery opposed plans for a shooting range. It is essential to note that Scotland permits the legal shooting of various duck species during the hunting season, which runs from September to January.
