An alarming situation is unfolding along Scotland’s east coast as a significant number of dead wild birds have been discovered, raising concerns of a potential avian flu outbreak. Authorities are working diligently to address the situation, mitigate risks, and prevent the disease from spreading.
On Monday, approximately 330 dead birds were found washed ashore in Stonehaven, with an additional 100 collected on Tuesday. Further north, 126 deceased birds were retrieved from Cruden Bay.
