This year’s festival, from August 12 to 20, promises to be a resounding testament to the vibrancy and unity within the world of bagpipes.
A Resounding Global Impact: Piping Live! organizers proudly underscore the festival’s profound impact, both locally and internationally. The event has evolved magnificently over the past two decades, blossoming from around 50 events to a staggering 150 per year across various venues in Glasgow. Despite navigating challenging times, including two years of virtual engagement, the 2022 edition saw an inspiring turnout of 19,000 attendees in person, complemented by 22,000 virtual participants from all corners of the globe.
